In-school Residencies
S.T.E.A.M Circus Hawaii, designs and delivers engaging and educational five-day residencies aligned with school standards. Strategically scheduled either prior to a module to establish a foundational tone or afterward to reinforce key concepts, students will enjoy developing new skills in a fun, interactive environment while effectively retraining important lessons.
Assemblies
Our S.T.E.A.M Circus assembly shows are lively, entertaining, and skillfully performed, seamlessly blending humor with educational content. Assembly performances might be customized to align with specific academic themes. Following the show, students will engage in interactive, hands-on activities such as balloon animal twisting, introductory juggling, hooping, plate spinning, and more, fostering both learning and active participation.

Science
Science: vocabulary begins with understanding gravity and progresses through forces, motion, Newtonian principals, heat transfer, water cycles, human body systems, and more!

Technology
Using basic coding related measurements to connect movement. A type of coding specific to juggling and developed by MIT students is called “Site Swap.”

Engineering
Acrobatics depends on physics and engineering to perform safely. Athletes use principles of center of mass and balance to execute flips and stunts.
Vocabulary to be included are parabola, vertex, axis of symmetry, geometry shapes and more.

Arts
Integration of arts adds aesthetics and you can’t spell TEAM with out the A! Arts adds the joie de vivre, the fun, the creative to the hands-on learning.
Circus arts provide opportunities for movement creativity, theatrical elements, and collaboration. Primary and secondary colors may be included.

Math
From patterns to bar charts prime numbers to skip counting to multiplication to quadratic formula, math and circus are a great team. Using counting in clusters of tens, for example, is a tool to measure success.
