Ronja Evans
Ronja Evans moved to Honolulu from Germany in 2010. She has been passionate about circus arts since 1995, initially as a student, and later focusing on the educational aspects of Circus Arts. In 2013, she founded Circus Olina, with the goal of inspiring and empowering others through the art of the circus.
Deena Frooman
Deena Frooman, a Kailua girl gone world, has spent over 30 years creating and crafting circus skills as the tool for education meets fun and is the founder of S.T.E.A.M Circus. A five ball juggler, surfer and lover of all things circus, Deena has taught thousands of people how to juggle three balls and is known, affectionately, as Deena Juggleena.

S.T.E.A.M Circus Hawaii, is a collaboration of Ronja Evans and Deena Frooman who, together, share 60 years of integrating circus skills with education and it all started, well...before S.T.E.A.M.
Meeting at The 2010 European Juggling Convention, the two connected instantly by their love of juggling and circus.
Ronja and Deena realized they both had experience and knew the value of integrating circus with education.
